SPEAK OUT AGAINST BULLYING POST for 2/3

Okay, so unfortunately I unexpectedly did not have access to a computer on Friday, February 3rd, so this post is a day late.

On February 3rd, I didn't happen to see any bullying. I tried to spread the word but no one listened really.  :) Either way, I'm sure somebody saw someone who was being bullied and helped them who was participating on the other blogs.

My experience with bullying is mostly when I was younger. There was this big clique at my school all throughout elementary school and they tortured people A LOT. Lately, it's not that bad. You keep your distance, they keep theirs. Mainly they teased about clothes (I know right).  I actually used to be in their group for a while in the first grade. Eventually me and my other friend broke off because we really didn't like how they acted. Nowadays not much real bullying seems to occur, mainly because of all the rifts in our school's social sturcture. If you stay with your group or clique, you'll never have to be alone near them.
Luckily any experiences I had with being bullied I don't really remember. I just remember one time one of the meanest girls teased my friend about her rain boots (it might have been her coat but I really think it was her boots). I mean really RAIN BOOTS! She told her that her little brother had the same pair of boots (her brother was a jerk too) and kind of scrunched up her face and sneered. I really don't get why people do that.

Anyway, bullying isn't nice. This day was meant to raise awareness about bullying. Now that we know what goes on, every day we need to try to speak out against bullying. One day is NOT enough!
