Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie PerkinsMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Although I tried to put this book down, it proved impossible. Every time I tried to stop, I had to read again and it was hard to stop. This book was very passionate and sweet. Etienne was sweet and all, but my fave part of this book was not mostly what it was about. It was Anna. I loved how much she loved the movies. I loved how independent she was, although she was afraid at first to explore Paris. Her quiet reserve and description of the Parisians was so satisfying. I loved her description of movies. It made me think of books. The best part for me was probably her descriptions of Paris. I jst bathed in her tellings of the patiserries, cakes, sandwiches, theatres, monuments, cathedrals, and people. I just couldn't help but love this book! It was more than ah-mazing. I really hated Toph from the beginning so I was excited later on. Bridge was okay. Not my fav character. Rash was fun and so was Mer. Josh was really awesome but kind of easy to feel disgusted with. Cannot wait to read Lola and the Boy Next Door and Isla and the Happily Ever After !
