My Cultivate Commitment

I'm in Girl Scouts, and I did a leadership journey called MEdia. It's about finding the ME in media and putting yourself into your media world. I have learned how to influence the world with my story, not just other's stories. There are three components to the journey, Monitor, Influence, and Cultivate. My Cultivate commitment is to once a month detach myself from all media and electronics and take a day to just do something else that truly represents me, something completely uninflueced by the media. My Cultivate challenge is to share this on Facebook, Goodreads, Twitter, and Blogger. And I've done that. I can't wait to try out my commitment! I might take a hike, or write, or do some yoga, or play outside with my sister, or paint something, or clean my house, or paint my nails, or play with my old Barbies. So will you join me? Let's take a day off! Together, we can influence our media world.
